FreeJack Pendants by Tech Lighting provide the ultimate in design flexibility. Tech Lighting allows you to select your pendant style and glass, select a canopy that can accommodate up to 5 lights, then adjust the height of each pendant during installation. This gives you a truly customized lighting design for your space.
Step One - Design your FreeJack system:
The first step in designing your FreeJack system is to determine what it is you are trying to light. You'll need to decide where the elements should be installed to put light where you want it. You can also select from a wide range of colorful and decorative accessories to create a cohesive look. Tech Lighting's large selection of pendants include LED options for energy efficiency and hand blown glass by Bacchus Glass for a one of a kind piece of art.
Step Two - Choose your Canopy:
Select one single-port canopy for every Element or a multi-port canopy that contains the same number of ports as the number of elements you have chosen. The single and multi-port canopies include a transformer or transformers.
Step Three - Finding the right height:
Adjusting FreeJack cable is easy. Loosen, but do not remove, the set screw on the tip of the FreeJack connector and the oval head set screw on the conical connector. Pull out the coaxial cable and cut it to the desired length. Gently twist the end of the cable between your thumb and forefinger, then feed it through the conical connector. The outer wire will come to a stop point about 3/4 of an inch into the connector. Keep pushing the cable into the connector while rotating the connector, which makes feeding the inner wire into the connector tip easier. Look into the sight hole on the top of the connector to ensure that the inner wire makes contact wiht the end of the connector. Hold the cable in place and tighten the set screw on the tip of the connector. Make sure the connection is tight! Tighten the oval head set screw on the conical connector firmly. Finally, pull the coaxial cable toward the fixture to smooth out the wrinkles in the outer wire.
