Unusual Bathroom Lighting

So, I want you to close your eyes for a minute and imagine what a bathroom looks like. Did you think about a sink, a toilet, and a tub or shower? Did you think about the towel hanging from a ring on the wall, or the “special” soap that looks like little clam shells that NOBODY IS ALLOWED TO TOUCH? Lastly, did you think about that one poor, lonely light bulb dangling from a frayed electrical cord in the ceiling, reminding all who enter of how lonely and desolate life can sometimes be? Fear not, my friend, not all bathrooms look this way.

As the home lighting experts, we have been inspired by some of the amazing uses of our light fixtures that were not specifically designed for bathrooms. Creative decorators, and motivated homeowners have not just thought outside the box, but proudly yelled for all to hear, “What box?”

As always when selecting bathroom lighting, it’s important that you select fixtures that are UL Rated for either damp or wet locations. A steamy bathroom can be a harsh environment for the wrong kind of fixture, so make sure you’re using the right ones.
